<p>The invention relates to the production and control of plasma and also to welding and cutting by means of plasma. The inventive method for producing plasma consists in supplying argon and hydrogen to the starting area of a main arc which is produced by an electrode coaxially arranged in a nozzle. Said invention makes it possible to produce a highly concentrated plasma jet having a high heat content, whereby ensuring the highly efficient cutting of metals having different thickness and the high quality of edges.</p> |
