Safety cap is locked in position over main switch to prevent machine operation during access

The machine system has the main operational circuit controlled by a safety/emergency stop power switch. When this used to disable the machine during service or repair it is fitted with a protective cap [3] that prevents access. To prevent removal that cap is locked [7] onto a retaining bar [5] screwed into the housing [14]. Double locks are used and need keys [8] to unlock.
