A modular construction furniture system has eight equal cubes which are linked by hinges on at least two selective sides of each sub cube. This enables the system to be unfolded into a variety of shapes. Each sub cube can be solid or hollow and can have one side open or two opposite sides, e.g. to form a storage rack. The system can be stood upright or laid flat.
