摘要 The stator of a conventional rotating electric motor has to be thicker at the two upper and lower end portions of an insulating winding bobbin than an essential value for the insulation. Therefore, the length L2 of the stator core in the direction of the thickness cannot be great enough compared with the total height H, so that the output torque is so low as to raise a problem. A stator 1 of the rotating electric motor has a step 3a at a magnetic pole teeth portion 3 so that the two end portions in the direction of the thickness may be narrowed. An insulating winding spool 5 is provided with a first groove portion 5b for housing an upper step portion 3b of the magnetic teeth portion 3 and a second groove portion 5c for housing at least a part of a lower step portion 3c of the magnetic pole teeth portion 3. Therefore, the upper step portion 3b of the magnetic pole teeth portion 3 extends to the vicinity of the two end portions of the insulating winding bobbin 5 in the thickness direction. As a result, while maintaining the thickness of the insulating winding bobbin 5 necessary for the insulation, the length L1 in the direction of the thickness of the stator core 4 can be great compared to the entire height H of the stator 1, thereby ensuring a high output torque.
