<p>4,5-Substituted-2-formylaminobenzamides of the general formula (1) can be produced by reacting a compound of the general formula (6) with formic acid in an organic solvent, and can be further converted into 6,7-substituted-quinazolin-4-ones of the general formula (7) through cyclization in the presence of a base: (1) (6) (7) wherein R1 and R2 are each hydrogen, alkyl which may have a substituent, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, aralkyl, aryl, or acyl, and the substituent is alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, aryl, acyl, alkoxycarbonyl, halogeno, or the like.</p> |
