<p>The present invention seeks to provide an improved system for the calibration of radio antennas and improved devices therefor. There is provided an antenna calibration system comprising an antenna array (50) having a plurality of sub-arrays (51), and a calibration device (52). The sub-arrays (51) comprise a number of location means (53) with which a calibration device (52) can engage whereby calibration is facilitated. The calibration device (52) is similar to the array tiles (51) used on the array antenna. The calibration device (52) may be placed at a precise distance from each array tile (51), in turn, to couple a precise calibration signal into each array element (22).</p> |
