<p>A method of passing location data within a communication network to a destination application, the location data being indicative of a geographical position of a mobile telecommunications device, the method including the steps of determining the location data associated with the telecommunications device, receiving from the mobile telecommunications device an access request including the destination application and a security token generated in the mobile telecommunications device, authorising supply of the location data to the destination application based on the security token, supplying the location data to the destination application, and forwarding the access request to the destination application.</p> |
