A holder for positioning nuts and washers onto screws, e.g. in difficult to reach sites, has upper and lower grip flanges secured into a grip handle and held together by spring force. The lower grip flange extends beyond the upper grip flange and has a conical grip onto which each nut is placed. A washer is positioned onto the nut and gripped by the upper grip flange. As the securing screw is threaded into the nut the tip of the nut presses onto the conical grip and splays the grip flanges to release the nut and washer. A magnetic grip slides on the upper grip flange for additional grip control.
