The invention relates to a combustion chamber system, particularly in the cylinder head (1) of a gasoline direct injection engine, comprising an injection device (3) injecting streams (7) of a combustible mixture into a combustion chamber (10). The injection device (3) is provided with at least one injection valve (4) and at least one ignition device (11) which comprises a central electrode (12) extending into the combustion chamber (10) so as to form a spark gap (15) between the central electrode (12) and a shell electrode (8) assigned thereto. Said shell electrode (8) is fixed to the injection device (11) or to a wall (2) of the combustion chamber (2).
