Production of sand-containing casting mold parts comprises: (1) preparing a core box; (2) partially or completely lining the box with an adhesive strip or film on one side; (3) filling the box with a binder/sand mixture; and (4) hardening the mixture to obtain the required casting mold part. Production of sand-containing casting mold parts comprises: (1) preparing a core box; (2) partially or completely lining the box with an adhesive strip or film on one side; (3) filling the box with a binder/sand mixture; and (4) hardening the mixture to obtain the required casting mold part. The adhesive strip or film comprises a support made from polyolefin or tetrafluoroethylene. The binder is a cold box benzyl ether resin, a resol resin or an epoxy resin. Hardening is carried out using a gaseous hardening agent, preferably gaseous amine, CO2 or SO2.
