The arrangement has a cooling pipe piece (4) laid in each length (2) of a winding coil of an electric motor over the entire groove length or longer and with an open cross-section. The electrical conductor or conductors of the coil are implemented as hollow pipes and carry a flow of coolant. Coolant pipes emanating from a distributor and opening into a collector are laid in the winding lengths of a stator winding.
