<p>A coupling for train carriages with shared bogeys and a low floor, e.g. 800 mm, has a single coupling comprising a forked grip onto a single grip to connect the carriages and a connection to the bogey. The passenger connection between carriages is protected by two concentric flexible tunnels with the inner tunnel secured to the underside of the transfer platform. The two tunnels form a ring shaped space through which service connections are positioned. Each tunnel is braced by an overhead damping mounting.</p> |
