PURPOSE: A device for correcting sharpness of a display is provided to correct sharpness of a deteriorated analog video signal with a digital circuit to improve contour characteristic of a displayed image. CONSTITUTION: A device for correcting sharpness of a display includes an image source generator(200), an analog processor(210), a digital sharpness corrector(220), and a display unit(230). The image source generator generates a video signal. The analog processor analog-processes the video signal generated by the image source generator to output R, G and B signals. The digital sharpness corrector corrects sharpness of the R, G and B signals. The display unit displays an image on a screen according to the R, G and B signals whose sharpness has been corrected by the digital sharpness corrector.
