STRUCTURE OF AIR PASSAGE IN UPRIGHT TYPE VACUUM CLEANER

PURPOSE: A structure of an air passage in an upright type vacuum cleaner is provided to prevent the drop of suction force and the overload of a motor caused by the expansion of a dust bag by making the flow space of air in a dust collecting room. CONSTITUTION: A body(1) has a partition(70) dividing a dust collecting room(50) and a motor driving room(30). A dust bag(80) and a motor are installed at the dust collecting room and the motor driving room, respectively. An air introduced port(52) is formed at the top of the dust collecting room. A dust cover(60) covers the dust collecting room. A plurality of ribs(61) are formed in the dust cover. A groove(51) is formed at the rear wall of the dust collecting room, and has second air passage function. A grill unit(71) is formed at the partition, and introduces the air in the dust collecting room into the motor driving room.
