PURPOSE: Provided is a block of hydroxy apatite for tibial proximal osteotomy which is absorbed slowly while supporting the body weight by using the workable material to be absorbed slowly on bio-system and have the sufficient strength like the bone. CONSTITUTION: The block of hydroxy apatite for tibial proximal osteotomy is basically wedge shaped and has the anti-skid grooves so as to bond to the cortical bone sufficiently while not being pushed out. The wedge shape is constructed at the various angles and is selected appropriately as occasion demands. The block is used singly or with the conventional metal block. When the block is used with the metal block, a much smaller metal block than the conventional metal block is used, and so it is easy to eliminate the metal block or there's no need to eliminate the block.
