PURPOSE: A lower plate of a plasma display panel and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce a current leakage by reducing the dielectric constant of the capacitor formed between the substrate and address electrode. CONSTITUTION: A lower plate of a plasma display panel comprises a first green sheet(64) which is porous and formed on a lower substrate(62), wherein the first green sheet has a low dielectric constant; a second green sheet(66) formed on the first green sheet so as to form a barrier rib; an address electrode(68) printed on the second green sheet; and a dielectric layer(70) for protecting the address electrode. The first green sheet is made of a material containing ZnO-B2O3-MgO-SiO2 compound and carbon, carbon compound and air bubbles added to the ZnO-B2O3-MgO-SiO2 compound. |
