The suspension device, e.g. for a separator (1), has two rails (60) along the separator connected to suspension brackets (40). Suspension rods (30) are connected to the other ends of the brackets and also to an assembly rail (10) fitted to the ceiling. There are diagonal braces (50) between the ends of the suspension rods.
