The door lock (2) has a latch bolt and a closing block held on opposite components of the oven. The block can be moved to an open position by a power creating device in the form of a bolt (22). It has a stop for the latch bolt, which can move the block to the closed position. The stop is sprung, in the form of a helical torsion spring (14) and a metal strip.
