Method to adapt a heating device including a burner to its dedicated air-/exhaust system

A method for matching a burner heating device to its air supply and exhaust gas system, where the supply stem comprises a jet for combustion air, a control unit and fuel gas injector and a differential pressure transducer. The blower is adjusted by the controller in accordance with heat requirements. At installation the rotational velocity of the blower is continuously increased until an operating point of the differential pressure is reached at which the rotational velocity of the blower for the necessary airflow is determined. Blower characteristic curves (71-74) that correspond to a particular rotational velocity are stored in the control unit with the operating rotational velocity value, determined at the operating point of the differential pressure, being used to select a characteristic curve. The characteristic curve is then used to operate the heating device.
