APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING NETWORK SYNCHRONOUS CLOCK

PURPOSE: An apparatus for providing a network synchronous clock is provided which enables a user to insert a clock board into a desired slot and reduces the number of pins using a point to multi-point method. CONSTITUTION: A clock board(20) receives a reference clock provided from an upper clock supply source device and then generates clocks required by a plurality of line interface cards(30,32) and then sends them to the corresponding line interface card respectively. A universal slot(44) has a structure where the plurality of line interface cards and the clock board is inserted together. And an operation and spare buses(40,42) support point to multi-point clock connection in the above universal slot.
