The method involves transmitting e.g. radar or ultrasonic sensor signals in two plane or solid angles areas, which are partly overlapping. A system (10), e.g. a car, moves past the objects, e.g. parking cars, whose distance to each other is to be measured and sends signals in moving direction and in opposite direction. The sensor signals, which are reflected at the objects are received from the system and the distance between the objects is calculated. |
