PURPOSE: A gas range is provided to allow the gas burner to be promptly turned on and off, while reducing current consumption. CONSTITUTION: A gas range(1) comprises a plurality of gas burners(13a,13b); branch pipes branched off from a single gas pipe and connected to each of gas burners, wherein the gas pipe is equipped with the first open/shut valve; flow rate controllers mounted on each of branch pipes, which control the flow rate of the fuel gas flowing to the gas burners; and the second open/shut valve mounted to each of branch pipes. Operation of each of gas burners is controlled by light touch switches(15,16).
