PURPOSE: A heat spreader for a plasma display panel television is provided to cool down the plasma display panel television without using a fan. CONSTITUTION: A heat spreader used for discharging heat generated from a plasma display panel television includes a metal substrate(210) and a plurality of ribs(230). The plurality of ribs are formed on the metal substrate and arranged at a predetermined interval. Each of the plurality of ribs is I-shaped, V-shaped or Z-shaped.
