PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inorganic antiviral agent with which antiviral effects on viruses can be kept for a long time. SOLUTION: The antiviral agent comprises inorganic oxide particles in which the average diameter of the particles containing an antiviral metal component is 500 nm or less.
