PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermo-sensitive damper to be suitably utilized for a contracting bobbin for a spool which is provided with heat treatment, etc., achieving a simple structure of the contracting bobbin, reuse of the bobbin, a simple heat treatment process, and cost reduction. SOLUTION: A thermo-sensitive damper 10 used for a contraction bobbin 1 constituted to absorb the contraction of a winding yarn layer by heat treatment, etc., to contract a outer peripheral part, is provided with a cylinder 11 in which a working fluid is sealed, a piston 13 on which external force acts through the piston rod 14 by sliding within the cylinder 11, and an orifice passage 19 disposed to communicate the inside of the cylinder divided by one end of the piston 13, so that it actuates as a damper mechanism which absorbs the variation of the bobbin diameter of the contraction bobbin 1.
