PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically stick a label effectively and quickly by selecting it according to a kind of a product among a plurality of kinds of products to be carried. SOLUTION: The automatic labeling apparatus includes an identifying means 3 for identifying a type of the product carried by a conveyer 2, a plurality of labeling machines 4 which are arranged side by side in a carrying direction F along the conveyer 2 and have labels L for the respective kinds of the products mounted, and a relocating means 5 for relocating, based on identification results by the means 3, the labeling machine 4 according to the type of the product from a waiting position Y1 to a label sticking position Y2.
