PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding vehicle seat which can be folded and housed smoothly without making a seat cushion interfere with the body. SOLUTION: According to the vehicle seat, when a seat back 1a is folded forward to the seat surface of the seat cushion 1b, the seat cushion 1b is moved to the rear and the seat back 1a is folded on it, folding the back of the seat back 1a continuously with a rear deck 21 to form a cargo floor. On the front side of the lower end of the seat back 1a, the rear part of the seat cushion 1b is attached and supported pivotally, and the lower part of the seat back 1a is linked to the body 22 via both first link 3a and second link 3b so that the lower part of the seat back 1a is moved to the rear in an interlocking move with folding forward of the seat back 1a. Meanwhile, the front part of the seat cushion 1b is linked to the body 22 via a third link 3c of dog leg shape, which can be bent freely in the middle. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
