PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a change gear for an automatic transmission in which a shift and select shaft can be axially moved in a rotating direction by using an existing tool without interfering with an engine auxiliary machine such as a battery disposed on a periphery, a cooling water pipe or the like. SOLUTION: A distal end curved part 20a of a jack handle lever 20 mounted in a vehicle is held by a rectangular inserting hole 80a, a supporting curved part 80b and a support standing part 80c formed on an upper plate 8a of a manual gear shifting lever 8 of the gear shifting unit 1 of the automatic transmission, and other end of the lever 20 is inserted into an existing wheel wrench 21. The lever 20 is operated via the wrench 21 to axially move the shaft 2 via the lever 8 in the rotating direction without interfering with a battery 14 arranged near the shifting unit 1 of the transmission.
