<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and surely cover the needle of a used syringe with a protective cover. <P>SOLUTION: This syringe is equipped with an external cylinder on the distal end of which, a needle is fitted, and a plunger which forms a filling space for a medicine in the external cylinder and discharges the medicine from the distal end of the needle by sliding. In such a syringe, the protective cover which is rockably held through a hinge and covers at least the needle tip under a standing posture when being pulled up, and stops falling down in the opposite direction is provided on the external cylinder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
