PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vulcanized rubber superior in oil resistance, and to provide a copolymeric rubber composition containing nitrile groups. SOLUTION: To 100 pts.wt. of a copolymeric rubber (A) containing nitrile groups which has an iodine value of 100 or less and has a content ofα,β- ethylenic unsaturated nitrile monomer units of 10-60 wt.%, 3-200 pts.wt. of an acid acceptor (B) selected from zeolite compounds, hydrotalcite compounds, and aluminum hydroxide gel, is incorporated, and preferably is further incorporated 3-100 pts.wt. of a metal salt of anα,β-ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid (C) to obtain the rubber composition. To this composition 0.2-10 pts.wt. of an organic peroxide vulcanizing agent (D) is incorporated to give a vulcanizable composition which is then vulcanized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
