PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder that can facilitate storage of sheets, and an image forming device having the same. SOLUTION: To an end of a sidewall member 50 constituting one sidewall of opposite sidewalls of a sheet storage part 101B, a door 110A is pivotally journaled so as to open for storage of sheets S in the sheet storage part 101B and to abut, when closed, an end of a sidewall member 51 constituting the other sidewall opposite to the one sidewall. The end of the sidewall member 51 constituting the other sidewall is positioned backward of the end of the sidewall member 50 constituting the one sidewall along the sheet storage part 101B, so that when opening the door 110A to store sheets S, a user can store the sheets S back in the sheet storage part 101B without hindrance of the sidewalls.
