PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate material for a cup-formed container and the cup-formed container employing the material, which are free from occurrence of pin holes in formation and free from failures in gluing. SOLUTION: The laminate material (10) for the cup-formed container comprises, from an external side of the container, a polyethylene resin layer (11), paper (12), an intermediate resin layer (13), a barrier film (14), and a sealant layer (15) which are sequentially laminated. A polyethylene resin with a high melting point is used as the intermediate resin layer (13). Base paper for a cup can be preferably used as the paper (12). COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
