PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a structure that detects a rotating speed of a wheel and can accurately detect an axial slip of the wheel on a road surface from an early stage. SOLUTION: A holder 25 constituting a sensor unit 21 houses a rotation detecting sensor and a vibration sensor. The vibration sensor detects an axial slip of a wheel on a road surface. This can accurately detect an axial slip of the wheel from an earlier stage than the arrangement of an acceleration sensor for detecting a slip on a vehicle body. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
