PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide onion stem-cutting scissors with which a worker can carry out cutting works in a naturally standing posture and which can prevent the damages of blades and onions. SOLUTION: The onion stem-cutting scissors which are made by disposing a fixed blade 2 to the tip of a long handle 1 and attaching the base portion of a movable blade 4 to the fixed blade 2 and can cut the stem of an onion by downward moving the movable blade 4 is characterized by disposing a guide member 3 upward projecting from the blade portion 2b of the fixed blade 2 at the tip end of the fixed blade 2.
