PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of inputting control signals which facilitates the operation of a moving device for electric wheel chairs by operating a control signal input apparatus paying no attention to the center point of a touch sensor, and the apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: A method of inputting with the touch sensor is modified. A finger or the like touches first on the touch sensor by the operation 1 to define the touched point as a base point and is moved being kept touching on the sensor from the base point by the operation 2. The relative coordinates of the current touched point with the finger and the base point or the like is calculated with a signal processor to be converted to a control signal of the moving device for the electric wheel chair or the like.
