The latter has outer splines 8 which engage the inner splines 3 of the bore 2 to prevent rotation of the bearing. The bearing is @urged against a radial face 5 of the rib 4 by a spring 15, a distance-piece 14 being positioned between the bearing and the spring, and a washer 16 being positioned between the spring and an end cap 17 of the casing 1. Brake harnesses and planet wheels 13 are mounted in a bore 10 of the bearing and a reaction ring 21 of a freewheel 22 is carried by the bearing. The brake harnesses and planet wheels 13 are lubricated by a lubricant inlet passage 25, via passages 24, 12 and a recess 11, and the freewheel 22 is lubricated by the passage 25, via passages 24 and 23. |
