PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which performs discrimination about whether an abnormality in a prize ball discharge state occurs by intrusion of noise in a line or an individual difference between a main board and a discharge control board and enables a user to take countermeasures without stopping the discharge of the prize balls when the abnormality occurs in the prize ball discharge state. SOLUTION: The prize balls are counted by both of the main baseboard 100 and the discharge control board 200 based on a detection signal from a prize ball discharge sensor. In this case, when it is judged that the main board 100 does not complete counting when the discharge control board 200 completes discharging the prize balls (S148: No) and also time-up is judged (S150: Yes), '1' is added to a deceleration counter which determines a degree for decelerating a prize ball discharge motor. Thus, a prize ball discharge speed is decelerated and a time for detecting the prize balls by the prize ball discharge sensor is made to be longer and the detection signal becomes stable. Consequently, a counting miss owing to the individual difference is eliminated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
