<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument having an aseptic drape, and an easiness for operating, and to provide a method for operating the instrument by suppressing a negative influence affecting on the drape to a surgical operation to the minimum. <P>SOLUTION: The instrument such as an operating microscope system 100, has a support unit 101 for supporting an operating microscope 102. The instrument is covered at least partly with the drape 110. An air inside the drape 110 is removed by using a suction unit. The drape 110 is mounted partly at the support unit 101 at a collar 115. A vibration of the system which disturbs to a surgical operating treatment can be suppressed to the minimum by operating the medical instrument 100 at a different suction coefficient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
