摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a honeycomb structural body capable of uniformly forming the layer of a catalyst carrier on the internal surface of a pore of a cell separating wall. <P>SOLUTION: The production method of the honeycomb structural body is composed of a film forming step, a molding step and a calcining step. In the film forming step, a void-dividing film having at least a porous oxide on the surface of a disappearing particle that disappears by heating. In the molding step, a raw powder for the honeycomb structural body and the disappearing particle where the void-dividing film is formed, are blended to give a blended raw material which is molded to form the honeycomb structural body. In the calcining step, the disappearing particle is eliminated by sintering the honeycomb structural body, and this body having, on the cell separating wall, the void- dividing film which divides, as a pore, a disappeared void, is calcined. Thus, the disappearing particle disappears to form the pore, which is uniformly divided by the layer of the catalyst carrier consisting of the void-dividing film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
