PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a production method for a continuously casting slab for improving cleanliness of the slab in a ladle replacing part simply and inexpensively. SOLUTION: In the production method for the continuously casting slab excellent in cleanliness, the S density in a molten steel in the ladle is made to be 0.006 mass% or less by the start of teeming the molten steel from the ladle to the tundish, when producing the continuously casting slab by replacing a ladle during casting. The teeming of the molten steel into the tundish is stopped, so that the molten steel height H satisfies the following expression (1) after the start of teeming the molten steel from the ladle into the tundish, and then, the ladle is replaced for teeming the molten steel from the next ladle into the tundish.
