PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe expanding device which can improve productivity of a heat exchanger by improving transferring efficiency. SOLUTION: A pair of first guide bars 10 at the lateral position on the front side of an end plate 9 and a pair of second guide bars 11 at the lateral position on the rear side of the end plate 9 are respectively provided apart between a base part 2 and a ceiling part 4, and moreover, a stopper 19 is provided freely slidably to at least either of the first guide bars 10 or the second guide bars 11 via a stopper elevating means provided in the vicinity of the second guide bars 11, or struts 3, or the first guide bars 10. Furthermore, on the base part 2 either of a guide passage 2a of a conveying body 23 to convey the heat exchanger or the guide passage 2a for installing a transferring device is provided within a distance of the first guide bars 10 and the second guide bars 11 so as to pass the heat exchanger from one side to the other side of the base part 2 sides.
