<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-color image forming material provided with an image receiving sheet with good fine line fitting and with high sensitivity, good image quality and excellent main paper transferring properties. <P>SOLUTION: In a multi-color image forming material, the image receiving sheet with an image receiving layer and at least four kinds of different color heat transfer sheets each with a photo-thermal converting layer and an image forming layer are used, the image forming layer of each heat transfer sheet and the image receiving layer of the image receiving sheet are faced to each other and are laminated together, and they are irradiated with a laser light to transfer a laser light irradiated region of the image forming layer onto the image receiving layer of the image receiving sheet to record the image. Amount of remaining solvent on the image receiving sheet is made to be a definite amount, and in addition, the image receiving layer comprises a polymer with a definite Tg. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
