PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band cutter, which is able to easily cut-off a steel band even when the steel band is tightly banded. SOLUTION: The band cutter is characterized in that an iron core (2) is attached to a grip (7) of a body (1) of the hand cutter, and a grip (4) having a slidable iron core (3) is attached to the grip (7).
