PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving mechanical properties of thermosetting resins such as a phenol resin, an epoxy resin and an unsaturated polyester resin. SOLUTION: A condensate produced by adding water or an aqueous solution containing an acid to a silane coupling agent is cured by mixing with a liquid resin, thereby improving mechanical properties of thermosetting resins including a phenol resin, an epoxy resin and an unsaturated polyester resin.
