<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium which is capable of high speed record erasing and has good storage stability. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical information recording medium, a phase change type recording layer which can take at least two different phases is set on a substrate. The recording layer contains a main component expressed by the following formula (1): (Au<SB>x</SB>Sb<SB>1-x</SB>)<SB>1-y</SB>Ge<SB>y</SB>, wherein x and y are numerals satisfying 0.01≤x≤0.4 and 0<y≤0.3 respectively so that the recording medium can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
