<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce vibration of an inverse input such as flutter or kick back without deteriorating a light feeling of steering during usual steering or return of steering wheel. <P>SOLUTION: The hydraulic power steering device 10 has pipes 32, 34 as a connection passage communicating two cylinder chambers 22, 24 of power cylinder 18 through a control valve 30 and damper valve devices 44A, 44B installed in these pipes. The damper valve devices have the damper valves 62A, 64A, bypass passages 58A, 84A, 54A communicating the lead pipes of the both sides of the damper valve with bypassing the damper valve and a bypass valve 86A installed in the bypass passage, and an opening amount of the bypass valve is constituted to become larger the longer the flowing time of oil flowing in the lead pipe 32 in one direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
