PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing rack in which the number of support columns can be reduced, and they can be positioned at more posterior side than the front end of the ceiling plate so as not to become obstacles, and further, which enables not to fall down even in vibrations of earthquake or the like. SOLUTION: A plurality of support columns 3 is built at the position having a prescribed distance forwards from the depth wall 2 of a housing room 1 and having a distance from side to side. A ceiling frame material 4 arranged toward the longitudinal direction to the back and forth direction which is the depth direction of the housing room 1 is coupled to the upper end of the support columns 3. A rail material 5 is horizontally mounted along the depth wall 2 at nearly the same level as that of the upper end of the support columns 3. A hook part 6 installed at the rear end of the ceiling frame material 4 is hung to a hook groove 7 of the rail material 5 and locked.
