PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disulfonylated, diepoxidized, or diaminated cyclodextrin derivative wherein two 2-position hydroxyl groups of two D (+)-glucopyranose units between a D(+)-glucopyranose unit are selectively modified, and to provide a method for efficiently manufacturing the compound easily and with a high selectivity in a single stage under mild conditions.
