<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of unusual sounds from a door weather strip attached to a door frame due to vibration of the weather strip when a vehicle door is shut with a strong force. <P>SOLUTION: According to the door weather strip 1A, the base 11 is fitted into a retainer 21 provided on the outer periphery of the door frame 2, and a seal lip 13 is in contact with the outer end projecting edge 22 of the door frame 2. A plurality of streaks of projections 130a, 130b, 130c, which extend in almost parallel to each other, are formed on the side face at the vehicle exterior side of the seal lip, and the front ends of the projections are made to be in contact with the interior side of the outer end projecting edge 22 of the door frame 2 in a state close to linear contact. In this structure, contact noises repeated generated between the seal lip 13 and the outer end projecting edge 22 upon vibration of the seal lip is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
