<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adsorptively recovering a fluorine-containing emulsifier from the coagulation wastewater of a fluoro polymer in a high recovery rate. <P>SOLUTION: The method for adsorptively recovering a fluorine-containing emulsifier from the waste water left after the coagulation of a fluoro polymer and containing a fluorine-containing emulsifier comprises adding an inorganic acid to the wastewater to adjust it to a pH of 1 to below 6, adding a metal chloride or its hydrate having a solubility of at least 5 mass% in water at 25°C to the wastewater to coagulate and remove the solids or substances convertible into solids, and bringing the wastewater into contact with a weakly basic anion exchange resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
